Structure on track for completion in 2009

Raleigh, NC – November 16, 2007 – on the site adjacent to the Crabtree Mall; it's much grander than that. It's a crane erecting what is soon to be the tallest residential building in North and South Carolina. The city of Raleigh is making way for a new opulent addition to its skyline that will forever change the lifestyle of this progressive city. It is the iconic Soleil Center that is guaranteed to command attention of locals and tourists alike – and make history that's the first of its kind here n North Carolina's capital city.

Groundbreaking for this $170 million architectural inspiration began in July of 2007, with delivery of residences and hotel rooms planned for the summer of 2009. Sub-grades have been prepared, with caisson drilling currently underway in preparation for the superstructure to go vertical in early 2008. At the direction of Hunter Roberts, a premier builder specializing in challenging construction projects in the Northeast, Bob Ferguson quotes, "We're tremendously excited about having been selected as the contractor for the Soleil Center project and creating this landmark building to be the cornerstone of Southeastern legacy." Heading up our project management division and instrumental in the building of this work of art, Gary Fourie of URS Corp states, "I am so proud to be a part of a world- renowned team that is going to materialize the vision of Dicky Walia and Sanjay Mundra. It is a privilege to be part of a cutting-edge project that will forever change the capital city of North Carolina."

Forty-three stories of sky reaching glass will encompass the building's spectacular exterior, which was designed by prominent architect Ralph Johnson of Chicago's Perkins and Will. Celebrated developers Dicky Walia and Sanjay Mundra of Soleil Group, who have already executed successful developments in the fields of hospitality, condominiums, multi-family residences and class A office space, masterminded this pioneering project. Soleil Center is said to be their grandest masterpiece yet. In what is now known as Raleigh's "Uptown" district, Soleil Center will be the epitome of a mixed-use project with 54 exclusive residences on floors 20-41, a four-star Westin Hotel on floors 9-18; a renewing 6500 square foot spa; an extensive fitness center; signature restaurant; 17th floor indoor pool and a 7th floor rooftop terrace garden with lounge. Hotel guests and residents alike will have access to lavish concierge, chauffer, in-residence dining and housekeeping services.

The jobsite is certainly not the only place hopping with activity; sales success has been unprecedented. At an opening price point of $1M, in less than 4 months a significant amount of inventory has been reserved. Marti Hampton, owner of ReMax One Realty and the 3rd ranked ReMax Team in the US gives some insight: "Soleil is the very first chance we have had to offer a Manhattan lifestyle to our market. Every single buyer who I have brought to the sales gallery has been wildly impressed." Soleil Center is not the only change on the Uptown horizon. More than $1.2 billion dollars in development is currently taking place within a 3-5 mile radius surrounding Soleil Center. There are two $250 million dollar lifestyle centers planned with shopping, restaurants, luxury apartments and high-end office space. In addition, the Crabtree Valley Mall has announced the arrival of three new well-known restaurants, McCormick and Schmick's, Flemings and Brio Tuscan Grille. Representing the Crabtree Mall's excitement for this development, Neil Rudolph, Vice President of Plaza Associates states, "Soleil Center's opening in 2009 will be the continuation of the upgrade to the Crabtree/Uptown district.... the spectacular 43-story tower coupled with the Westin name will be the most significant and visible change to the area."

Preston Waldo, a commercial real estate broker who has sold a residence at the Soleil Center adds, "The tidal wave that is coming from the private equity being poured into Crabtree will drive property values up and create the premier destination for living, working and playing."

Driving up and down Glenwood in 2009 will certainly be a welcome change for this area. Residents and hotels guests at this address will no doubt know a complete and utter lavish living experience unparalleled to anything that Raleigh has ever known. Dr. Larry Wheeler, Director of the North Carolina Museum of Art says it best with: "We salute the innovative and refined design in all its expressions and thank the Soleil Group for making Uptown in particular – and Raleigh in general – more beautiful and more exciting for all of us."
